I need help with a rose bush?

I have a rose plant, and the leaves are drying out. I put it in a place with medium sunlight, and water it twice a week. Should I be doing anything differently?
I need help with a rose bush?
Rosebush needs full sun, and only one inch of water in really warm season once a week. You also need to fertilize week with rose food. Look in the computer "how to take care of roses bushes" and you get all kind of good info.
Reply:Consider Iron. We had a rose bush for years that would do nothing but grow leaves. We tried commercial products and fertilizers to no end with no luck. I finally was told to take the blood from the meet we will use for our dinner and give it to the rose bush. So I watered it down and tried it. For the first time we were loaded with roses. Also like the one answer said. It may be getting to much water (causing root rot).
Reply:Yes, you should move them to the sunniest spot in the yard. Roses require 6-8 hours of sunlight. If your Roses are facing south it's even better. You didn't mention anything about mulch. Mulching is great for Roses because of water retention, and slowing down the weeds. If you are watering 2x a week how long are you watering. Roses like a deep watering, but hate wet feet. I hope this helped.
