A friend of mine once told me the name of a rose he showed me was Angel Face. He teases me a lot... so, I don't know if he was serious. I've gone to greenhouses, plant departments, even looked in plant books, etc. trying to find an Angel Face rose bush... but, no one ever heard of it. Was he just pulling my leg?

Yes there is a such thing as an Angel Face Rose. Its a double petal climber that grows 4-6 ft. It is a very fragrant mauve or lilac-colored rose that blooms in late spring early summer.
