What is the best method for keeping Japanese Beetles off my rose bushes?

Every year I get thousands of Japanese beetles eating up my rose bushes......is their some method to stop them.....would prefer natural solution.

suggestion` dont use those bagged traps they draw them to your yard and try cayenne pepper
Reply:We pick the blooms just after they appear and let them open inside. That way they don't seem to bother the roses too bad that way. It's not a guarantee but it works for us.
Reply:Plain old baking soda or cayenne pepper . they cannot stand either.personally i opt for the baking soda(lighly dust bushes)
