Where do i find a blue rose bush?

This is a reputable company that specializes in AARS roses.

Every year they offer new roses that have won awards.

They are based in Shreveport Louisiana. They offer a great variety of roses and will ship to you at the proper growing time. Good luck!
Reply:check out the direct marketing web site. they call their rose blue, but it is a silver lavender color.it's called blue girl and they say it's the closet you will get to blue.i have gotten several roses from them and they are just as good as jackson and perkins, only much cheaper.
Reply:there are violet bluish roses, they're a complete pain, and extremely picky as to the environment they'll grow in. just ask your local "nursery" about them.
Reply:=)))) "Blue" is a relative term . There is no true blue . Pale silvery lavender is possible . You can dye white roses blue . Painting works too, but it shortens the vase life of the rose.
Reply:I agree with everyone here. There are no true blue color roses, like there are no true black roses. Perhaps, you may find bluish/lavenderish color rose. Good luck finding it. By the way, you are so sweet! Your grandma must be so happy.
Reply:As far as I know there are no "true blue" roses. But, there are flowers that resemble roses and are the closest(I believe) to a "true blue" rose. They are called 'Lisianthus'. Here are some websites with pictures and descriptions. Hope this helps!
Reply:I'm sorry to tell you this but the pure blue rose has yet to be created. There are breeders in Germany who are very very close and are about to release roses that contain the color blue. It's the bluest blue I've seen yet especially in the striped blue and white rose. Here is that site.

Until their release your only choice for blue roses are:

Angelface:

Blue Girl: http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/im...

Or anything similar. These are as blue as you get for now.

Both of these roses can be found at Heirloom roses which is a great company and breeder of heirloom roses. I've already purchased 5 of their roses and will be purchasing more. Also, if you are looking for unusual roses, Heirloom roses has a category called "unusual colored roses". I purchased their "midnight blue" which is an incredible purple and "Green Ice" which is a mini with cute little green roses if kept in the shade.
