Is it ok to let my rabbit to eat flowers, like rose or dandelion?

I accidentally saw someone feeding her rabbit rose petals.
Is it ok to let my rabbit to eat flowers, like rose or dandelion?
Roses are safe for almost anything to eat, even people. As long as they have not been treated with pesticides they won't harm the rabbit. Wild rabbits eat them and expecially like the rose hips, the fruits that form after the petals fall.
Reply:We used to feed my rabbit dandelions all the time, so those are ok, but I don't know about roses.
Reply:Your rabbit know what it wants or needs to eat. They are not stupid like humans.
Reply:This is the most comprehensive list I've found of things to NOT feed your bunny.

And here is a decent list of what bunny CAN eat...

There is a GREAT multi-page list out there on the web somewhere that includes a lot of herbs, flowers, etc. that are safe for bunny to eat, but I always have a hard time finding it (I printed it a while ago). I know dandelions are okay (leaves and flowers)... not sure about rose petals though. Hope these lists help!
Reply:Dandelion is ok but I don't think rose is best. Keep an eye on it. Go to http://www.rabbit.org for a list of approved foods.
Reply:A rabbit is OK with dandilions, and with rose petals, but once my friend gave a rose stalk and it threw up... But the whole of a dandelion is OK. Happy munchies!
Reply:Dandelions and Rose petals are a-ok! Be sure it doesn't eat anything like buttercups, irises, or pointsettas.
