I don't mean the MetroNorth station, I mean the subway.

The D train leaves you off about 7 or 8 blocks from the west entrance, which is right near the Metro North station. A 10-minute walk, or you can take the bus down Fordham Road.
Reply:it's a long walk to the fordham campus from any subway line. either take the D to fordham rd and take the bus west across fordahm to the campus or take the 6 train to pelham pky and take the bus east to the campus
