HELP!! I was rushing the other day and spilled rose-colored nail polish all over my BEIGE carpeting!! ...?

Any remedies you can suggest to remove the stains -- other than dyeing the rest of the carpet that rose color or buying new carpeting?

Since this was done days ago, call a professional carpet service, and ask about their prices for removing such a stain – either with their cleaning chemicals or by taking out that section of carpet and patching it with a matching piece.

If the polish was still wet, you could start by dabbing the polish remover on the affected spot. Paper towels are a good choice for this step. Dab a bit of the remover onto the spot, then cover it with the paper towel – pushing down, but not grinding. You want to keep doing this until you find a good balance between keeping the carpet from getting soaked, while being sure to use enough of the remover that the polish is coming off. Once you get all the polish off, put down some more towels to dry out the spot and then clean it like you would with any other stain.

Reply:How much did you spill ? Just a bit or the whole bottle? Sometimes a good quality (non-acetone so you don't ruin the carpet fibers) nail polish remover works for small spills ... on a large spill I am not sure what to suggest.

Good luck !
