How much will my vivarium be messed up after my Chilian Rose tarantula has eaten a pinkie mouse?

Will there be blood everywhere and a rotting mouse left behind?

More then likely not.. They are more methodical eaters and will roll it up in a food bolus when they're done with it. You will want to spot clean it right after otherwise it will smell awful in a day or two.

She'll just pick it up and methodically eat it then roll up the leftovers in a food bolus.

Well, that's if she's hungry. Grammostola rosea will often fast for months at a time.
Reply:There won't be any mess. I've never seen anything from my rose hair, not even bones or any other waste. All spiders inject venom to kill their prey, and stomach acid to dissolve it. Pinky mice have very weak bones which are easily dissolved by the rose hair, meaning when it is done eating, there is nothing left.
Reply:youll have to take the mouses body out after the tarantula is done with it or it will start to stink.

Im not a big fan of feeding mice to tarantulas anyways. I think theres better things you could feed it. But its up to you.
