What is the Best way to make rose water?

i am making turkish delight and none of my local stores sell it so... i have to make it from scratch... there are many ways online, but i want the best way. any suggestions?

Well....I make my own Rose water....but its not for cooking...i use it in my rituals..

heres how i do it...but remember to keep in the refrigerator after you make it...it keeps better that way.



Ok...

Find you some fresh Roses that have a wonderful smell..that are strong in scent. I would use at least 5 roses for this...take the petals off from the flower...then..

Take a stainless steal pot, and add 5 cups of water..get the water to boiling....take it off the eye, and add your rose petals put lid on pot...let it steep for about 1 hour...then strain water...and bottle up your rose water, and put it in the refrigerator...

Now you have Rose Water.
