Should michigan fans root for ohio state in the rose bowl?

As a michgan fan even though ohio state kicked our butts I am still rooting for them we are in the big ten and its that time that rose bowl returns where it is. I am tired of people saying that the sec, pac 10, and big twelve are better its time to show that big ten pride. Are you with me other michigan fans?
Should michigan fans root for ohio state in the rose bowl?
If you're a Big Ten fan then you should root for Big Ten teams in bowl games.
Reply:when it comes to bowl games, its all about respect for your conference. Root for Big 10!!! it doesn't take anything away from the greatness of the rivalry. I was mad when Michigan lost to App state. I am an Ohio State fan, but when Michigan loses to non conference teams, it makes us all look bad.

I'm a UT fan and you will never see me rooting or hoping for OU to win a game. even though they are in the same conference i dont give a damn. i luved it when Boise St. beat them last year in the Bowl game. there is no such thing as being a fan of your conference.



you'll never see a Boston fan rooting for the Yankees or the other way around.

Reply:I always root for michigan in the bowl game. In the big ten I usually root against them, but if michigan has a chance to win the NC, then I will root for them. I am an OSU fan first, big ten fan second, and michigan hater 3rd.

Reply:I root for any Big Ten team playing against the SEC. Hell! If we can't beat them I'd be more than glad to cheer for a team that we did beat beating them.
Reply:You should root for your conference. Im a OU fan i root for the Big 12 in bowl games. It says alot about your confernce. Plus it brings in money for your school. The money won by teams in your confernece at bowl games are spread out through the confrence. So i would say yes root for OSU in the rose bowl.
Reply:I am an OSU fan but root for any BIG 10 team playing outside the conference and that includes Michigan. In this day and age of the BCS and opponents strength of schedule you have to.

Some people around hear would say "Well we lost to Florida, but I'll root for them because they're still a florida team." Piss on that, I hate 'em! Red Sox fans don't root for the Yankees in the World Series because of their love for the American League. They want to see the Yankees get crushed!
Reply:Im a buckeye fan, and i agree about that though. The Sec, pac 10 and all them are not better than the Big Ten. Big Ten has the best teams, best players, best coaches, and the best fans..
