How long does it take to dye a rose?

You will see the rose start to change color the first day and full change the second day...cut 1/2 inch off the stem (best if the blooms are just starting to open) and immediately place in a glass vase of luke warm water with a full bottle of food coloring and floral preservative solution to keep the rose fresh longer...to tye dye, repeat the next day (before full color change ) with a different color.
