Why is my moss rose plant losing leaves?

I have a moss rose plant that I just got a couple of weeks ago and was doing great. However, we just had an unexpected cold snap. I put it in a flower house so that it wouldn't get cold and when I went to get it out today, all of the leaves fell off. They look healthy but just fell off. Now all that is left is the stems and a few blooms that have not opened yet. The stems look fine, I just can't figure out what happened to the leaves unless maybe they did not get enough light?

Is the pot draining well? Root rot can cause dropping of the leaves.

The good news. I have had many of my moss roses to do the same thing if I have neglected them. With a little TLC, they come right back! They're sturdy little plants.
Reply:could be a frost or to much water
Reply:Rose Leaf Curl can cause leaves to drop. It is a virus effecting old garden roses of Europe. Leaves curl or drop from new shoots and canes die. You can tolerate the virus or destroy infected plants.

Symptoms include a downward curling (epinasty) of the emerging leaves in the spring. Leaf casting and shoot dieback follow and are accompanied by loss of plant vigor. The young leaves are generally smaller than normal and pale greenish yellow.

After leaf fall, the canes die back from the tips and plants lose vigor. Individual canes or the entire plant may be affected. Disease severity may fluctuate from year to year. Some plants, although apparently near death, have shown marked improvement, but many remain in a general state of debilitation.
