so you get the paper, just fold the tip of the paper, and follow the step.maybe you could also tape the tip so it would hold it's place.
Reply:Hey, if you have a tin snips and are really creative, maybe you could cut and bend a tin can, better yet, use an aluminum soda can and a pair of scissors, you can fashion a rose tip and use a heavy storage bag, (Ziploc, etc.) cut the very corner off of the bag and have at it! You can do it!

I knew that you could!
Reply:Yes, you can make them without the tips. You need to have parchment cones, some that you can make angled so it resembles the tip used. But lets start with a parchement cone to make the bud first. With scissors cut a large enough hole, but not too big to make a cone shaped center. Taking your second parchment cone you cut on the angle, make your first batch of pettles and continue until you have made the size desired. Allow this to sit on the flat parchment you built it on. Make more as you need and I would actually freeze them so you have them to apply easier. They won't melt and squish if they have hardened, and will soften as they sit on the cake. It might be wise to do several sample flowers before you do the good ones you plan to use, that way, you can work out any kinks you have, ect.
Reply:You could use a toothpick !
Reply:You need a narrow tip. If you have a fairly large round tip, you can bend it w/ pliers to be kind of pointy at the top, and kind of wider at the bottom, to make a rose tip. Otherwise, no.
