Do you think the Bulls should trade Kirk Hinrich and draft Derrick Rose?

From a lot of scouting reports, people are saying Rose might be better than Beasley. Although Beasley will fill the Bulls' greatest need, low-post scoring, you have to also look at the way point guards like Chris Paul and Steve Nash have recently dominated in the NBA. Also, Hinrich really struggled last year, maybe making him expendable. What do you think the Bulls should do with the pick?

I think the Bulls need to figure out what they want in a head coach, and what he can coach, before they decide on personnell. Rose might well be the better pick than Beasley; of course, Oden was the consensus, got hurt, and watched Durant kick butt. But the Bulls need to figure out their scheme before they reconstruct the team.

With the Bulls deep depth, but little star talent, and the No. 1, I would not be surprised to see them make two or three blockbusters and end up with three All-Stars, like the Celtics did. The "Bulls are the deepest team in the NBA" theory crashed and burned last year; why not have the best starting five, and a bench that watches? I would not be surprised by the question becoming not "Rose or Beasley?", but "No. 1 and Hinrich and Nocioni for an all-star?"
Reply:well i think that given the first pick they should draft the BEST guy not neccesarly the guy who will fit into this puzzle i mean get this a guy worty of number one pick needs to be one the team is built around so if that means getting rid of kirk then so be it its not like hes a big star with for chitown anyways but as a bulls fan i just wanna see us back in continution for a championship

thanks

Reply:beasly is a scorer but he hasnt had to score in the nba, and he is not a true center he plays the 4 position, and they have like 5 players that play that position, but yeah they will trade hinrich because rose is going to be a good player, thats if they dont trade the pick it self, maybe trade down and get a true center or trade for a true center
Reply:I was saying the should from the beggining

They dont have to trade Hinrich but they should draft Derrick

They dont need beasly, they have Tyrus Thomas and if they draft Beasly that is saying that they failed in the draft last year

They have to back up thier picks

Beasley might be the most popular, but Rose will make the most impact
Reply:Exactly! I couldn't of said it better. Derrick Rose will be like

Chicago's Lebron. He lead his college team to the national championship game

as a freshman. And I'm Chicago. I seen him lead his high school team to

back to back state championships...clutch player! I think he will be

better than Chris Paul (we all see what he just did). Rose is bigger and

faster. Please bring him home.
Reply:They should draft Derrick Rose, the hometown gem and possibly trade a package including godon and/or deng. neither is certain to come back to Chicago, so why not trade them and make sure you get something in return?
Reply:I tink they should trade the 1st pick and go after a superstar like tracy mcgrady or someone like that beause i think they need one and they should trade hinrich and gordon deng and noah
Reply:They need to trade somebody, too many good players at the same position
Reply:If they draft rose then yes they should. It sounds like a good idea
Reply:yes trade hinrich an another player for a good solid post player
Reply:it would be a good idea\
