Does anyone one know how to make rose water?

I finally found some sites that tells me how to make it. The one thing i don't know is if i have to use fresh rose petals or dry. I have dry once at home. I wonder what would happen if i use dry vs fresh. Please let me know asap if you know. Only serious answers!

I think fresh, since that's when the color is the strongest.

and mix it with water

Reply:i went to ask.com they say things such as : pick rose petals, check for bugs, etc...so i am guessing you use fresh petals....
