How can i preserve my rose posy I had as a bridesmaid?

I would love to be able to preserve my posy as a keepsake, do you know if this is possible?

There are many ways to preserve flowers but the easiest way would be is to buy a silicone spray and spry very lightly all over, the roses should then keep their colour and shape for many years to come. The other way that i have used is to very gently paint with clear nail varnish, i don't know if ordinary varnish would work but nail varnish certainly dose.

Good luck
Reply:Above answer just about covers it! Good source, I've book marked that.

Pressing can be done immediately but yields a 2 dimensional result you may not want. The silica dessicant will result in a dry arrangement, problem will be trying to get everything completely covered and dried evenly. I've only use glycerin for woody plants, not flowers, sorry.

Reply:My wife has her bridal posy of red roses and it is still perfect, although dried.

All she did was put it in a crystal vase and put it in a cool, dry place.
