Whenever I cut mine back, I end up making them look horrible (being too short and small)...
does anybody have some good suggestions on the right way to cut them?

Reply:cut above the forks above knobs-its ok to cut them short they will grow back and reshape then
Reply:cut back to below a set of 5 leaves. Also prune so that the new stem will grow out not in.
