the rose bush has green limbs on it %26amp; the climatis plant has some green leaves...what can i do to help them?
I had a climatis and rose bush transplanted and now they appear as though they are dyeing..what can i do?
There is a product that reduces transplant shock which you water in with the plant at the time you transplant. If the leaves are only drooping, they will most likely recover, depending on how long ago you transplanted. Probably wait for a week or so to see any improvement. If no improvement you will have to sacrifice any flowers to save the plant. If the stems are green inside when you cut them, then the plant is still alive. You may have to cut back down to 6 inches above the ground if necessary. If the leaves start to dry up or fall off, time to cut back im afraid.
Reply:Make sure the rose has plenty of sun and fertilizer and the clematis has its roots system fully covered. Clematis will die if any of the roots are exposed and they like heavy mulch.
Now that you have moved them, leave them be to heal from the stress of the move. If any of the rose bush's branches are broken, put wax on the wound.
Good Luck!
