What are the different ways Jane Yolen has put together to tell the story of Briar Rose?
i love this book!
there are small bits of the story "briar rose" within the tellings of the story of the grandmother, a holocost survivor. in various instances, you can see almost parallel stories example:
when the grandmother has been exposed to the bas and trown into the mass grave. the man who finds her gives her the "kiss of life" to wake her from her "sleep". from thence on, i do believe they even call her briar rose...
