Woudl my rose die in my closet?

i bought a rose and i put wet cotton on the bottom to keep it moist. i gotta hide it in my clsoet till tomrorow would it die? tomrrow morning ima put it in a box and give it to my grl so shes gonan open it around 710ish? would it die?

roses like lots of light, at least when they are potted or growing in the yard. but im not sure about the one in the closet. it might be just fine, but maybe give it a little more water than just the cotton. scrape a tiny (tiny) bit off an aspirin, and put it in the water too. should be just dandy!
Reply:It needs water. get a glass of water cut the end off the rose and put it in the water it should be ok.
Reply:A better thing to do is put it in a glass of water with an aspirin in it.
Reply:if this is a cut rose recut it , put it in cold water and add an asprin to the water, if possible store it in the refridge
